Embassy Suites Buffalo is searching for an individual to lead a Sales Team. In the ever changing hospitality market, we are seeking an individual who can analyze those needs, solicit and secure new business, and maintain strong relationships with clients in all facets of the hospitality industry.
The successful candidate must possess the following experience/knowledge: Understand and conceptualize the mission of the company; strong organizational skills and attention to detail, forecasting, creative thinking, and exceptional follow-up; Have the ability to manage a team by managing change effectively, lead by example and have team building experience, displaying leadership qualities at all times; Hands on experience in developing new business/customers; monitoring the competition. SALES MANAGER - EMBASSY SUITES BUFFALO
Candidate needed whose sole responsibility will be to focus on LNR and CNR in order to gain new business for the hotel and maintain these business relationships; This candidate should be well versed in OnQ Solicitation Management and understand the Buffalo market with a specific focus on downtown businesses and the medical campus; The qualified candidate should be familiar with TravelClick/Hotelligence and should be able to utilize these reports daily to assist in booking new business; The Sales Manager should expect to be out of the office several days a week ensuring our clients are well taken care of.
